Q: What is the youngest age that can play? (FOR Sept. 2011 - June 2012 season)
A: Your child must be 3 years old by September of current year. Also check our Age Chart for all divisions.
- Munchkins: all born in 2008, 2007 & 2006
- Short Shots: all born in 2005, 2004 August 1, 2003 to December 31, 2003.
- Juniors: all born in January 1, 2003 to July 31, 2003, 2002, August 1, 2001 to December 31, 2001.
- Intermediates: January 1, 2001 to July 31, 2001, all 2000, August 1, 1999 to December 31 1999.
- Seniors: January 1, 1999 to July 31, 1999, all 1998's, all 1997's.
Q: How can I become a coach?

Q: Can I register by mail?
A: Only returning players may register by mail. Just fill out one registration form for each child. In addition to the form, send a current picture and check for $40.00 ($35.00 for munchkin division) made out to JCSA. Send mail to:

Q: Can I join JCSA ? Are there any requirements? Are there any benefits?
A: Yes, JCSA always welcomes new volunteer members. You must be at least 18 years old. Benefits include your ability to influence the organization and effectiveness of your league and impact your community in a positive way. Level of commitment varies by position. Please go to the contact page if you are interested.
Q: How much does it cost?
A: For the 2011 Fall Season, and 2012 Spring season the cost is $40.00 ($35.00 for munchkin division) for both residents and non residents of Jersey City. A fee of $5.00 may be charged if registration is received after July 30, 2011.
Q: My kids are only one year apart. Can they be assigned to the same team?
A: Yes, if both kids are in the same division (Please see the age division section). If not, they will play in different divisions.
Q: How can I (or my child) become a referee?
A: JCSA requires all referees to be licensed. All referees must attend referee clinics at least once a year. Link to www.njrefs.com for more information.
Q: Where are the games played?
A: All the games are played at Caven Point Athletic Field, 1 Chapel Avenue, Jersey City, NJ 07305 (mostly on saturdays). Timings vary according to division & team.
